The School Age Assistant is responsible for the safety and well being of the children attending the Greater Peoria YMCA Before and After School program. The School Age assistant will carry out the instructions of the Site Coordinator and assume the responsibilities of the Site Coordinator in their absence. A High School diploma is a must and college course work in the field of education is a plus. The incumbent must bring to this position the ability to relate to all participants, parents and school age staff. The ability to be accepted and trusted by the children, parents, staff and supervisors is essential. Reliable transportation is required. Hours are from 6:30 to 8:00 AM and 2:30 to 6:00 PM plus occasional training requirements.
The Greater peoria Family YMCA is currently seeking a qualified, upbeat Group Indoor Cycling Instructor. The ideal applicant will be over 18 years of age, enthusiastic and able to work in a team environment. The ability and desire to promote the values of the Y, engage members and coach healthy living are essential. An extensive background in group fitness is a must and Group Ride™ certification is highly desired. Hours will vary with demand and ability.
